The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education and Sports Ketty Lamaro has invited applications from suitably qualified Ugandan Scholars to pursue studies at Undergraduate and Masters levels in Chinese Universities for 2024/2025 Academic Year.
The available slots are allocated in the following manner;
- Undergraduate Level
- Veterinary Medicine – 02
- Masters Level
- Gynaecology – 02
- Ophthalmology – 02
- Civil Engineering – 07
Eligibility
- Applicants for the Undergraduate level must have scored a minimum of C in Biology and Chemistry and must have completed ‘A’ Level in 2019, 2020 or 2022
- Applicants for the Masters level must have:
- a) a minimum CGPA of 3.60 in the relevant field.
- b) at least two years working experience in the relevant field.
- Applicants must not be more than 25 years of age for Undergraduate and not more than 35 years of age for Masters at the time of application.
- Those admitted on Government Scholarships/ Sponsorship should not apply.
- Applicants with Foreign Qualifications should have their academic papers equated by UNEB for undergraduate applicants and NCHE for postgraduate applicants.
- Applicants should have a valid passport or evidence that they have applied for it.
Procedure of Application:

The application should indicate age, sex, course, home district, telephone contact, email address. Attach photocopies of academic certificates and transcripts. This should be addressed to:
